On Tuesday, January 8th, we are chartering a bus to Elsford New York. We’ll receive a private tour of the new Captain Lawrence Brewery. We’ll taste all of their fine beers, and have the opportunity to purchase package goods. After the tour, we will head over to Growlers Beer Bistro in Tuckahoe to grab a bite to eat before returning to Matawan in time to get everyone home at a decent hour for work the next day. Our bus will depart from Maloney’s at 2:15, and return home at approximately 10 p.m. Seats on the bus are limited. The cost of the excursion is $100, which includes the cost of transportation, beer on the bus to and from the brewery, the tour and all tastings at Captain Lawrence, dinner and drinks at The Growler Beer Bistro, and all gratuities. Winter Solstice Celebration: 12/21
Join us on Friday, December 21st. We’ll be celebrating the first day of Winter and the shortest day of the year with a special tapping of Anderson Valley’s Winter Solstice. We’ll also be tapping AVBC Imperial IPA, Brother David’s Double & Triple, Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout, Barney Flats, and El Steinber. Join us in the bar from 6-9 pm for our Winter Solstice party. We have some nice AVBC swag that we’ll be giving away. We also have a special guest bartender lined up. Join us for our 2nd Annual New Year’s Day Beer Brunch! We’ll be serving a buffet from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Our brunch will include a carving station for roast beef and ham, an omlette station, and other delicious selections.

4th Annual American Ales Dinner
On November 16, at 7:30 pm, we are hosting our fourth annual American Ales beer dinner. We will be pairing some some of our favorite domestic breweries with delicious Fall delicacies. Beer Seminars
We are launching a series of seminars with brewer and Maloney’s bartender Ron Mahler. The sessions will run on Saturday afternoons in our private dining room. Reservations are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome. Seats are $25 per person. Come in and enjoy these lectures where all history, geography, agriculture, and science lead us back to one of our favorite topics- fine ales and lagers.

Jersey Fresh Fest
We are pleased to announce that our Third Annual Jersey Fresh Event will be held on Friday August 24th, from 6-9p.m. We are featuring the best of the Garden State’s produce during this bountiful season on our dinner specials, which will feature local seafood, corn, tomatoes, eggplant, peaches and more.
