We are hosting a Weyerbacher beer pairing on Saturday, June 9th. Weyerbacher, based in Easton Pennsylvania, is one of our favorite domestic breweries. Arrive by 7:15 for a 7:30 pm start. *Spicy-Island Salmon accompanied by a tropical fruit salsa, paired with Victor Ale (Red Ale, 5.6%).
*Spring Pea Soup garnished with crème fraiche and crispy apple wood smoked bacon , paired with Romeo (Belgian Red Ale, 8%).
*Slow-roasted Berkshire Loin of Pork served with honey-thyme-glazed baby carrots and red bliss potatoes, paired with Uniform (Roggenbier, 7%).
*Classic Key Lime Pie paired with Double Simcoe (Imperial IPA, 9%).

The menu is as follows:
1st Course: Artisanal meat and cheese plate with farmhouse brown bread paired with Ellie’s Brown Ale (American Brown Ale, 5.5%).
2nd Course: Salad Louie- assorted field greens, chilled rock shrimp, hard-boiled egg, grape tomato, cucumber and sweet Bermuda onion tossed with Louie dressing, paired with White Rascal (Witbier, 5.6%).
3rd Course: New World Porter braised short ribs accompanied by cauliflower puree and carrots vichy paired with New World Porter (American Porter, 6.7).
4th Course: Terry’s Dacquoise Cake- hazelnut and almond buttercream layered with rich dark chocolate cake layered with ganache, paired with The Czar (Russian Imperial Stout, 11%).

Renovations to our beer system are complete! We are now pouring 100+ top quality draughts from a state-of-the-art system. Our improvements include a huge new beer cooler and stainless steel, refrigerated beer lines.
We increased our capacity to 160 draughts to support the large events we are planning for the near future. Check back for a New Jersey beer festival, an outdoor Oktoberfest celebration, and more. We’ll now be able to host our ambitious events without disruption to our regular business.

On January 24th, at 7 p.m., Maloney’s is hosting a meeting for Beer For Babes- a local, ladies-only beer club. The group is exploring chocolate and beer pairings in preparation for Valentine’s Day.
The unexpected chocolate delicacies, both sweet and savory, will be paired with beer from all over the world. The price is $20 per person.
This is a ‘ladies only’ event. Gentlemen are welcome to pass the time at the bar (sorry, club rules).
